1 Article 17 (k) hereof, shall remain in charge of the repair or

2 operation of any part of the Boulder Power Plant included in the

3 properties to be operated by either Operating Agent for a period

4 of more than thirty (30) days, the Secretary shall be deemed to

5 be in possession of said part of said plant under the provisions

6 of this Article, and the Secretary may thereupon give the four-

7 year notice of termination provided for herein. At any time

8 after entry by the Secretary under this Article or after he shall

9 be deemed to be in possession under this Article and prior to the

10 expiration of said four-year period such Operating Agent shall be

II reinstated and shall have restored to it all rights which it had

12 under this contract prior to the time of said breach, upon

13 removing, in a manner determined by the Secretary to be adequate,

14 all causes which resulted in such entry and taking possession, or

15 upon giving assurances determined by the Secretary to be adequate

16 that such causes will be removed, and upon paying to the United

17 States any and all costs incurred by it by reason of such breach

18 which the Secretary shall determine to be in excess of the costs

19 which would have been incurred in the operation and maintenance

20 of the power plant if such breach had not occurred. Upon the

21 expiration of said four-year period, unless the breach or default

22 has been cured and such Operating Agent reinstated, this contract

23 shall terminate and be of no further force or effect as to such

24 Operating Agent. Upon any such termination as herein provided,

25 all property of the United States in the possession of such
