I feel you, the Bureau, must be <br /> <br />prudent in the management of the Colorado River reservoir <br /> <br />system. But I do not feel that this would mean maintaining <br /> <br />the reservoirs at a low level whereby inless than normal <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />runoff years the agricultural and'metropolitan water users <br /> <br />would be put in extreme jeopardy from lack of water. <br /> <br />I am afraid we will be facing flood problems along <br /> <br />the Colorado River until the Central Arizona Project comes <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />on line in 1985 or '86. Again, I feel that all reservoirs <br /> <br />should be maintained at as high of levels as possible in the <br /> <br />best interests of the majority and for those entities that <br /> <br />have allocations to Colorado River water.
