<br />0291 <br /> <br />PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND ORGANIZATION <br /> <br />Shown on Figure 1 is the project organization for the Ft. Lyon Canal Company Water Transfer Study. <br />The personal qualifications and experience of the individuals outlined on this organization chart have <br />been previously described. A brief description of the individual's project assignments and maximum <br />monthly project time commitment is outlined in Table 5. <br /> <br />As shown in our project schedule, we will be having periodic meetings which include the GEC staff, <br />the project team, the CWCB staff and other interested parties. The purposes of these meetings to <br />provide status reports and to obtain comments. These meetings should clarify any issues in the results <br />of this study. If, however, concerns are raised regarding our progress or study, Uoyd Gronning, who <br />is principal in cnarge will expedite resolution to these matters in order to ensure the success of the <br />studies for the CWCB. <br /> <br />GRONNING ENGINEERING COMPANY will coordinate closely with other ongoing Arkansas Valley <br />studies including the Great Plains Reservoir studies in progress by the Department of Parks and <br />Outdoor Recreation and in the similar studies including those to be conducted by Task Force 11 to <br />avoid duplication of effort and facilitate exchanges of information. <br /> <br />cosr PROPOSAL <br /> <br />Our cost proposal for the Ft. Lyon Canal Company Water Transfer Study is presented in Table 6. We <br />are proposing that the project will be completed for a fee not to exceed $95,000. Our cost proposal <br />reflects the allocation of effort as described in the Request for Proposals. The estimated costs and <br />hours by each professional are presenred in Table 6. We are anticipating considerable cost savings <br />in the initial tasks due to our understanding of and involvement in Arkansas Basin and Fronr Range <br />water issues. This will allow funds to be saved and utilized in the developmenr of conclusions and <br />recommendations. <br /> <br />30 <br />
