About 76,200 acre-feet of water annually would be avai~ <br /> <br />able for municipal and industrial use. The project would also provide <br /> <br />benefits for recreation and fish and wildlife. <br /> <br />The Dolores Project feasibility report has been approved by the <br /> <br />Bureau of the Budget and submitted to Congress. <br /> <br />Following the usual review at the field level, the Dallas Creek <br /> <br />project proposed report was revised. On March 11, 1966, the feasibility <br /> <br />report was circulated for review under provisions of the Flood Control <br /> <br />Act of 1944. <br /> <br />The West Divide project feasibility report is in essentially the <br /> <br />same status as Dallas Creek report. The report was circulated for review <br /> <br />under provisions of the Flood Control Act of 1944. <br /> <br />On March 11, 1966, the San Miguel feasibility report was circulated <br /> <br />for review under provisions of the Flood Control Act of 1944. <br /> <br />On the Basalt project the contractor has initiated work for aerial <br /> <br />topographic mapping of the Basalt conduit. Funds for this work were con- <br /> <br />tributed by the State. <br /> <br />Agricultural economy, water supply studies, geologic studies, and <br /> <br />preparation of design data for project canals are in progress on the Battle- <br /> <br />ment Mesa project. Design data for Owens Dam, Buzzard Creek Dam, and the <br /> <br />Colorado Canal and Diversion Darn has been completed preparatory to under- <br /> <br />taking feasibility designs and estimates. A proposed feasibility report <br /> <br />is scheduled for completion in mid FY 1967. <br /> <br />4 <br />
