<br />" <br /> <br />POWERS <br /> <br />The Corporation has the power to assess its members for repayment of <br />authorized debts and to contract with the United States, <br /> <br />FINANCIAL STATUS <br /> <br />The Company's financial statements for 1978. 1979, 1981 and 1982 are <br />presented in Appendix B, <br /> <br />PHYSICAL ASSETS <br /> <br />The Company facilities consist of the Great Plains Reservoirs; Big <br />Sandy Creek Diversion; Amity, Pawnee, Comanche. Kicking Bird, Lone <br />Wolf, and Satanta Canals with associated structures; and the Amity <br />Canal Diversion Dam, Operation facilities include four ditch riders' <br />houses with outbuildings, a main office and shop. In 1977 and 1978, the Big Sandy <br />Creek Siphon barrel transitions were rebuilt. In the winter of 1981- <br />1982, the Amity Canal Diversion Dam, Sluiceway and Headworks in the <br />Arkansas River were rehabilitated and a new concrete floor \~S placed <br />in the Amity Parshall Flume, In 1983 a Parshall Flume was constructed <br />in the Kicking Bird Canal, There is a continuing program of silt remo- <br />val and core wall construction. Generally, the other structures are in <br />fair to poor condition, particularly gates, <br /> <br />The Kicking Bird, Lone Wolf. and Satanta Canals supply water to the <br />Great Plains Reservoirs. The canal sections are in good condition, <br />but the bifurcation structure at the beginning of the Lone Wolf and <br />Satanta Canals is in fair to poor condition and needs gate replacement <br />and concrete repair. <br /> <br />The Great Plains Reservoirs are in good condition except for the outlet <br />works at Nee No She and Nee Skah Reservoirs, The outlet gates need to <br />be replaced and the downstream transition needs rehabilitating at Nee <br />Skah Reservoir, The spillway channels on both reservoirs need to be <br />re-excavated. <br /> <br />1-2 <br /> <br />.- <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />
