The canal sections are in good condition. but the drop
structures on the Comanche are in poor to fair condition.

The Amity Diversion Dam, Sluiceway and Headworks were recently rebuilt
and are in excellent condition. The dam and sluiceway was excavated
to 10 feet below the river bed during the rebuilding and was found to
be in good condition, The dams crest and the portion of the sluiceway
above the river bottom were in poor condition and were faced with 6
inches of new reinforced concrete, The headworks structure, in good
condition to start with, was epoxy coated to extend its life.
