Colorado Departmenl of <br />Transporlalion (COOT) owns properly immediately <br />north of this site. COOT will be asked by Urban <br />Drainage in 1995 to permit similar river bank cleanup <br />and regrading to enhance safety, river accessibility and <br />aesthetics. No cash contribution is expected from COOT, <br />however, the dedication of easement or right-of-access <br />and work licenses will be needed from them. <br /> <br />Time Irame: Begin in 1995. <br /> <br />Briel description and background: Signs that give direction or <br />other i.nformation along the River corridor are largely missing. <br />This project would construct such signs throughout the corri- <br />dor. <br /> <br />An existing natural sand and gravel bar area on the west <br />bank al Rockmont Park is being undermined by Ihe <br />river's annual floods and may be eroded out.
