ESTHETICS: <br /> <br />The Grantee will cover all diversi on structures except for' a'b::ess <br />hatches, the spillway, and the mai n water entrance with earth or <br />native material. Native materials will be used for riprap embank- <br />ments. All new pipelines will be buried, unless Forest Service <br />approves otherwise, for safety or environmental reasons. (FEIS <br />Section 2.4.1, page 2-35) . <br /> <br />All exposed structures will be a noh-specular color or composed of a <br />material that will blend in with !the surrounding natural setting. <br />All exposed concrete will require !a color additive. (FEIS Section <br />2.4.1, page 2-36) <br /> <br />14. WILDLIFE HABITAT: <br /> <br />The Grantee will replace wildlife ihabitat capacity lost because of <br />innudation or disturbance. Wild1,ife habitat mitigation will be <br />accomplished by the proponent in th~ general vicinity of the project, <br />but outside the Wilderness boundary. Required improvements will be <br />coordinated by the Forest Service with the Colorado Division of <br />Wildlife and projected lost habitat capacity will be replaced in <br />locations specified prior to start of project development. (FEIS <br />Section 2.4.1, page 2-35) <br /> <br />15. POWER lINE: <br /> <br />The powet. line adjacent to the Homestake Road will be buried. (FEIS <br />Section 2.4.1, page 2-37) <br /> <br />16. SOLID WASTE: <br /> <br />Solid wastes will be collected peri!odically and stored for recycling <br />or buried in landfill sites locadd outside of the Wilderness, as <br />approved in the Construction Stage! Operating Plan (Stipulation 2). <br />After construction is complete, landfill sites will be restored as <br />described in Stipulation 9, Restoration, above. (FEIS Section 2.4.1. <br />page 2-36) <br /> <br />17. WATER POLLUTION: <br /> <br />No waste or by-products shall be dis~harged to a stream if it contains <br />any substances in concentrations whi~h will result in substantial harm <br />to fi sh and wi 1 d1 i fe, or to human water suppl i es, or wi 11 result in <br />the violation of application water quality standards established by <br />the State. <br /> <br />Storage facilities for material capable of causing water pollution, if <br />accidentally discharged, shall be 1pcated outside the Wilderness and <br /> <br />18 <br />
