<br />(J\j~U <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />The Forest Supervisor or his designated representative may order <br />immediate temporary suspension of any project activity, when it <br />is deemed necessary to protect pub1 ic health, safety, or the <br />environment. Within 10 days, if so requested by the Grantee, the <br />Grantor will review the action, to affirm, modify, or cancel the <br />temporary suspension. ; <br /> <br />The Grantee shall also be sub~ect to all laws and regulations <br />which apply to the National For~sts and the Holy Cross Wilderness <br />in the construction, operation, and maintenance of the improve- <br />ments authorized by this Grant. The Forest Service remedies for <br />breach of any condition or term of this Grant shall include all <br />those available under the laws applicable to the National Forests <br />and the Holy Cross Wilderness. i <br />, <br />Upon abandonment, revocation, o~ termination of this grant, unless <br />the requirement is waived in writing, the Grantee shall, so far <br />as it is reasonably possible to! do so, restore the land to a con- <br />dition satisfactory to the Grantor. <br /> <br />The conditions set forth below shall attach to and run with the <br />land: <br /> <br />9. <br /> <br />The described property and its! appurtenant areas and its struc- <br />tures and facilities whether or not on the land therein granted <br />will be operated as part of a I municipal water supply system in <br />full compliance with Title VI o~ the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and <br />all requirements imposed by or pursuant to the regulations issued <br />thereunder by the Department of Agriculture and in effect on the <br />date of this document to the end that no person in the United <br />States shall, on the ground of. race, color, or national origin, <br />be excluded from participation ,in, be denied the benefits of, or <br />be subjected to discrimination I under any programs or activities <br />provided thereon; and ! <br /> <br />The United States shall have th'e right to judicial enforcement of <br />these conditions not only as t'o the Grantee, its successors and <br />assigns, but also as to lessees and licensees doing business or <br />extending services under contractual or other arrangements on the <br />land herein conveyed. <br /> <br />In the event of a breach of an~ of the conditions set forth above, <br />all right, title, and interes;t in and to the above described <br />property shall, at the option of the Grantor, revert to and become <br />the property of the United States of America, which shall have an <br />immediate right of entry theredn, and the Grantee, its successors <br />or assigns, shall forfeit all right, title, and interest in and <br />to the above described property; provided, however, that the fail- <br />ure of the Grantor to i nsi st in anyone or more instances upon <br />complete performance of any o~ the said conditions shall not be <br />construed as a waiver or a rel~nquishment of the future perform- <br />ance of any such conditions, ~ut the obligations of the Grantee <br />with respect to such future p~rformance shall continue in full <br /> <br />4 <br />
