Definitive information gained from achieving this first objective will

facilitate pursuit of the second major objective; determination of

relationships between water supply and habitat availability in this reach of

needs to provide agricultural, municipal, industrial, and energy water supplies

throughout the Upper Platte River Basin. Such needs will be assessed, and

water and related resource management alternatives ~~ll be analyzed and arrayed.

Finally, objective number four will be to identify, evaluate, and display

implications ~~sociated with the respective management alternatives arrayed.

Specific Objectives

Each of the three agencies engaged in the effort has outlined specific

objectives to be addressed in development of the technical information needed.

For example, the FWS, leading the effort on selected habitat needs, has

established the following objectives:
