2 <br /> <br />PLATTE RIVER BASIN <br /> <br />06694920 SOUTH PLATTE RIVER ABOVE SPINNEY MOUNTAIN RESERVOIR, CO <br /> <br />LOCATION.--Lat 38°59'10", long 105°40'52". <br /> <br />DRAINAGE AREA.--N/A <br /> <br />GAGE.--Graphic water-stage recorder and satellite monitoring at a 25-foot concrete Parshall flume with a wooden <br />shelter and concrete well with inside electric tape gage and in-flume staff gage. Gage is operated <br />and equipment is maintained by the city of Aurora. <br /> <br />REMARKS.--Record is taken from hourly satellite readings and is complete except for November 9, 2001 to <br />April 25, 2002, when the station was closed for the winter. The record is good, except for November <br />9 - April 25 which is estimated, and October 24-27 and November 4, & 5 which were rated ‘poor’ due to <br />possible ice-effects. Satellite daily gage heights agree with chart data to ±0.02 ft.
