LOCATION.--Lat 39°45'35", long 105°00'10", in NW¼SE¼ sec. 28, T.3 S., R.68 W., Denver County, Hydrologic
Unit 10190003, on right bank 90 ft Upstream from Nineteenth Street Bridge in Denver and 0.4 mi
downstream from Cherry Creek.

DRAINAGE AREA AND PERIOD OF RECORD.--3,861 mi². May 1889 to Oct. 1890 sporadic record. July 1895 to
current year continuous. Monthly data only for some periods.

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry in a 72”x72” precast concrete shelter on a 48”
corrugated steel well. Station includes electric drop tape, telemark and outside wire weight gage.

REMARKS.--The primary record is hourly data taken from satellite monitoring with chart backup. The primary

stages for the satellite record checked to within +- 0.02 with the chart. The record is complete
and reliable. The record is considered good, except for flows above 473 cfs (including the recorded
peak flow) which are fair due to lack of confirming measurements above 473 cfs. The “spill”, as
added to the measurements, is the regulating discharge from the Farmers and Gardeners Ditch. Record
