12 <br /> <br />LOCATION.--Lat 39°39'08", long 105°01'57", in NW¼NW¼ sec. 5, T,5 S., R.68 W., Arapahoe County, Hydrologic <br />Unit 10190002 on left bank just downstream from bridge on South Lowell Blvd., at Highway Department <br />maintenance building at northwest city limits of Sheridan, 1.3 mi upstream from mouth, and 2.l mi <br />west of city hall in Englewood. <br /> <br />DRAINAGE AREA AND PERIOD OF RECORD.--260 mi². April to Nov. 1914, March 1927 to current year. Monthly <br />data only prior to Oct. 1933. <br /> <br />GAGE.--Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry, shaft encoder and Telemark in a 42-inch metal shelter <br />and well with supplemental outside wire weight gage. <br /> <br />REMARKS.--The primary record is hourly data from satellite with chart back-up. The data is complete and <br />reliable, except for the following days when the stage-discharge relationship was ice-affected: <br />December 12,19,20, 21; January 17, 18; Feb. 10, 11, 15. Hourly data was used from the chart June <br />12-19, when the DCP was down. Chart data was also used for 3 periods when the encoder float tape <br />slipped off its pulley during a sharp rise in stage: July 8-11, 23-25; and August 1-2. The record <br />is rated as good, except for the following days which were estimated: December 12,19,20, 21; <br />January 17, 18; Feb. 10, 11, 15.
