Ground Water Commission Meeting Minutes Page 18 <br /> August 14 &t 15, 2025 <br /> Commissioner Hume asked if Staff requires proof of landownership from <br /> applicants during their review. <br /> Ms. Brucker responded that yes, Staff does require property deeds from <br /> applicants. She also mentioned that property sales records often lag by several <br /> months in the County record database. <br /> Commissioner Pautler asked what would happen if a buyer purchased only a <br /> portion of land from a seller, then applied for water rights on the entire <br /> parcel. <br /> Ms. Brucker responded that Staff would review the property deed and verify <br /> ownership of all the land claimed in the application. <br /> Commissioner Denning moved to direct Staff to implement the process and <br /> application form for the correction of erroneously issued determination of <br /> facts. <br /> Commissioner Diaz seconded the motion which carried unanimously. <br /> Commissioner Pautler called for agenda item no. 10, new business. <br /> a) Discussion on relocation of the November GWC meeting to CDA Broomfield <br /> office. Address: Colorado Department of Agriculture, 305 Interlocken Pkwy, <br /> Broomfield, CO 80021: <br /> Mr. Mike Matz and Mr. Chris Grimes addressed the Commission and outlined the <br /> technical issues that have been ongoing at the past several meetings in Castle <br /> Rock. Mr. Matz and Mr. Grimes recently visited the CDA conference room and <br /> confirmed the availability and suitability of the conference room for <br /> Commission meetings. <br /> Mr. Ullmann confirmed that meetings he has attended at the CDA office in the <br /> past have functioned well. <br /> Mr. Grimes also mentioned the Commission has been invited by the CDA to tour <br /> the CDA testing facility on the campus. <br /> Commissioner Diaz encouraged the Commission to consider the CDA facility. <br /> Commissioner Payne and Commissioner Kinnison agreed that the CDA facility <br /> would be worth trying out at the November meeting. <br />
