SAN JUAN/DOLORES/ANIMAS BASIN <br /> Basinwide Conditions Assessment: <br /> The SWSI value of 0.1 indicates that for October basin SAN JUAN/DOLORES/ANIMAS RIVER BASINS <br /> water supplies were normal. Storage in McPhee, Vallecito, 5 Sort"'l9ter Supply °°" "`story <br /> and Lemon reservoirs totaled 121%of normal as of the end of 4_ <br /> October. Flow at the gaging station Animas River near -▪ 3- F <br /> • <br /> Durango averaged 332 cfs as compared to the 1961-1993 . <br /> average of 376 cfs. The National Weather Service reports 2- <br /> basin precipitation at 11% of normal during the month. <br /> No precipitation fell during the month in the lower fl • J <br /> elevations. Some ground covering of snow was seen in the <br /> mountains.
