be required for the construction of "pond wells" permitted by the Commission or <br />State Engineer. <br />2. The minimum construction standards in Rule 10 shall be waived for gravel pit wells <br />and pond wells, except for Rule 10.1 and its subsections 10.1.2; 10.1.4, 10.1.6 and <br />Rule 10.2 and its subsection 10.2.1. <br />3. No pumping equipment shall be installed in a gravel pit well or pond well to <br />withdraw water for any beneficial use, unless a separate written request for variance <br />has been approved by the Board. <br />4. Water from a gravel pit well or pond well shall not be used for human consumption <br />without separate approval from the Board. <br />5. Rule 15 regarding disinfection standards shall be waived. <br />G. Rule 17 regarding well construction reports shall be waived, except that compliance <br />with Rules 17.1.4, 17.3, and 17.4 and is required. <br />With the adoption of this policy, Resolution 90-1 is no longer in force or effect and is <br />replaced in its entirety by Board Policy No. 2000-4 as amended. <br />Dated this day of October, 2002. <br />Board of Examiners of Water Well Construction <br />and Pump Listallation Contractors <br />
