Both the tributary valleys and the South Platte floodplain experienced less annual rise overall <br />in 1998 than in 1997. Annual declines in the tributary valleys and the South Platte floodplain <br />likewise were less in 1998 than 1997. <br />The reader is advised that these data are based upon the measurements of only 61 wells. <br />This represents only 2 to 4 percent of the total nonexempt wells along the South Platte <br />system between Kassler and the Colorado -Nebraska state line. <br />-3- <br />
