Box 1849 <br />Grand Junction, CO 81502 <br />y <br />Re: Gunnison River Graa Pits, Acreage Reduction Approval, Permit No. M- 2009 -048, <br />Revision No. AR -1 <br />Dear Mr. Geer: <br />On October 19, 2011, the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety approved your request <br />for release of a portion of the permit area from further reclamation responsibility. <br />The permit area was reduced to 29.97 acres, through the release of 28.33 acres in this permit action. <br />Because the permit is not totally released, you are still liable for filing annual reports and fees. <br />The revised estimated liability amount, which includes the additional cost for the substitute water supply <br />plan, of $88,767.00 exceeds the $47,972.00 performance bond currently held. If you have not already done <br />so, please submit additional bond in the amount of $40,795.00.
