-Tq - 03 M - 100 Technical Revision Mining Plan
Mining will be done during the operating months, as weather permits, between April
and November for about 5-10 yrs in order to mine entire property. The affected area is
about 9 acres. The pit area is about 518 feet on the west end of the pit, about 433 feet
on the north end of the pit, 350 feet on the east end of the pit and 360 on the south
end of the pit to the depth of 80 feet, benched with a high wall 20 foot and 25 foot
width of bench. Each bench will 1 to 1 slope on top bench and all other benches to be
1/2 to 1 slope to depth of 80 feet. If static of water level is hit before we achieve 80
foot depth, mining will stop. Reclamation will start by back filling previous bench before
the start of the next bench due to the size of pit on property. Reclamation will be done
concurrently with mining of the pit. The pit will be back filled with mixture of sand and
gravel to bring stability to the reclamation process. When reclamation is finished it will
be at a 1 to 3 slope or flatter. Processing equipment and settling ponds will be at the
east end of the pit. Refer to map as to where waste sand and gravel for
reclamation will be stock piled, and processing plant, settling ponds, sale gravel, stock
piles will be, office, fuel tank tool shed will be placed. Settling ponds will be roughly
150' x 80' x 10' on east end of the property. The water in settling ponds will be re-
circulated for the wash plant use. No water will be released off the property and no
chemicals will be used. A storm water berm will be constructed on the north boundary
of the property as required. The area for saleable sand and gravel will also be located
on the eastern part of the permitted property. The approximate size of the area will be
150' wide, 180' long, refer to map. This is Phase 1 of mining plan. Another technical
revision will be done on Phase 2 of the permitted property.
RpCov'o
MAR 14 7011
Divl*ion of R%nlamation,
Mining and Safety
