On behalf of CAM-Colorado LLC, following are its responses to the DRMS'
comments and concerns.
1. DRMS: In accordance with 2.03.6, 2.05.3 and 2.10.3 please provide a
description and appropriate map(s) of the proposed access to the permit
area. If appropriate, please also provide haul road specifications for the
access and right of entry documentation.
CAM: Access and right of entry through a 30' dedicated easement are described
in Exhibit 1, and page 2.03-5. Haul Road #1 will be constructed through the 30'
wide easement corridor. A plan, profile and typical section of Haul road #1 are
shown on the Map-15. Haul Road specifications are discussed on pages 2.05-
10 & 11.
The Public Notice does not include the `concise statement' verbiage from Rule
2.07.3(2)(e) because Haul Road #1 is, as stated a haul road. Therefore, from
Rule 2.07.3(2)(e) "If an applicant seeks a permit in which the affected area would
be within 100 feet, measured horizontally, of the outside right-of-way of a public
road except where mine access roads or haul roads join such right-of-way line..."
2. DRMS: In accordance with 2.05.3 please provide a description, appropriate
maps and cross sections, and specifications for the proposed rail loop,
spur track and bridge. If a stream ford over Reed Wash is necessary
