This pit HAS NOT
been granted a Temporary Cessation and it HAS operated more than 180
days this year. There has been no mining within 200 feet of the Peck
Creek tributary canyon as required. The Annual Report Map is an
excerpt from the application map showing the southeast portion of the
mine where mining activities are taking place at this time. The
areas discussed this year are based on the areas outlined in the June
2009 bond review and recalculation.
We will deal specifically with each of the Annual Report
questions as required in Rule 1.15 of the Rules and Regulations and
the Annual Notice Letter.
(1) No new areas were disturbed this year in the area where slab
mining is taking place (orange). The stone yard and Temporary
Stone Storage Areas (TSSA's) remain unchanged from last year.
We continue to use the grizzlies setup in 2002 for processing
stone in the Stone Yard. The following table shows the status
of the mine area, in acres, disturbed at the mine:
DISTURBANCE (NEEDING RECLAMA-
TION) STAGE 1
ac. t ALLOWED
BY BOND
ac. t
Slab stone mining (orange) 10.00 25.00
Partially reclaimed (green) 4.33 NA
Topsoil stockpiles (tan) 2.54 NA
Temporary Stone Storage Area (lln 26.68 35.00
Fstone Yard 13.55* 13.55"
1 Total disturbance 43.55 60.00
* - historic Industrial use area - no reclamation required
email: info@siloamstone.com website: www.siloamstone.com
