This pit HAS NOT been granted a Temporary Cessation and it HAS operated <br />more than 180 days this year. There has been no mining within 200 feet of the Peck Creek <br />tributary canyon as required. The Annual Report map is an excerpt from the application map <br />showing the Southeast portion of the mine where mining activities are taking place at this time. <br />We will deal specifically with each of the Annual Report questions as required in Rule <br />1.15 of the Rules and Regulations and the Annual Notice Letter. <br />(1) The area where new mining took place this year are cross hatched. The slab stone mining <br />area increased by 2.39 ac; this year. Mining continued on 2 field stone areas (pink) and the slab <br />stone areas disturbed in past years (blue). Smaller slab rock material continues to stockpiled in <br />processing and sorting ares east of the clay mine. The stone yards increased by 3.52 ac; . We <br />continue to use the grizzlies setup in 2002 for processing stone. The following table shows the <br />status of the area, in acres, disturbed at the mine: <br />DISTURBANCE STAGE 1 <br />ac.
