(2) No reclamation was required but as in the past we continue to cleanup the pre-law
disturbed area by filling, graded, and shaped the areas around the perimeter of the area. The clay
storage area is reclaimed pre-law disturbance area (1.52 ac., magenta). We have approximately
43,400 cy of topsoil saved for reclamation, located in around the mined area (brown). At this time
there is 1.56 acres (green) in the mine that is partially reclaimed. Approximately 4.15 acres (lite
green) has been reclaimed and begins is second growing season this spring.
(3) Mining will continue in the pink colored field stone areas and on the slab stone areas in
Stage 1 & 2 (blue). We will continue to remove stockpiled stone, in the stone processing area,
stone yards (purple) and on surrounding areas. This year we expect to expand the slab stone mine
area by 2.0 ac adjacent to where we are mining this year. The stone yard area is industrial area
and would need no reclamation if mining ended prematurely so.
(4) Reclamation is being completed as required in the permit, we are within the bonded limits
set in 1998. We will reclaim any areas that are in their final configuration as mining progresses
this year. We may begin to reclaim the western edge of the northern slab stone area this year.
(5) The current contact for this operation is:
Mr. Matt Mueller Phone # (719) 275-4275
Siloam Stone, Inc.
315 N 7th St.
Canon City, CO 81212
The effective date of all information contained herein is March 12, 2008.
