November 3, 2005 Memo <br />To: Jim Burnell - <br />From: Janet Binns <br />Re: Marr Mi e, C19 0-006, 04 Annual Reclamation Report review <br />CC: Dan He dez <br />I have reviewed Energy Fuels Coal, Inc.'s 2004 annual reclamation report for the Marr Mine. The <br />report is complete and provides most of the information required by the Division. This mine is in <br />permanent cessation status. The mine ceased mining coal in 1993. Reclamation was completed in 1999, <br />with permanent seed mix seeded in the most recently reclaimed areas in 2000. Since 2000 reclamation <br />activities have been limited to weed control measures; spraying and manual digging, and livestock <br />grazing. <br />Two items need additional information from the operator: <br />1. The operator reports that they are conducting regulaz weed control efforts throughout the mine <br />site, reported the timing of weed spraying and has provided a map showing where weed <br />spraying efforts have been conducted. Please have the operator also provide the name of the <br />chemical being used in the weed control efforts. <br />2. The livestock stocking rate in 2004 varied from the grazing plan described in the permit.
