DMG Permit No. M-88-112 <br />Monthly Sampling <br />Dear Mr. Dillie: <br />All required sampling was completed during the month of December. Analysis that have not <br />been received will be forwarded to you as I receive them. <br />The NANO/RO water treatment plaht operated intermittently during the month. A total of 4,052,800 <br />gallons of wafer was treated and.discharged into.Rito Seco during fhe month of December. <br />Work continued on the stormwaterdiversion.on Waste Rock "C"arid the project is approximately - <br />70%comp1ete. <br />Construction of the pipeline from the evaporation system collection pond to the tailings <br />impoundment was completed. <br />All surface water stations were inspected and RS-4 and RS-b were found to be dry. <br />Vacuum on the lysimeters was verified and no water was present to sample. <br />When we checked the piezometers on the main embankment of.the tdilirigs impoundment on . <br />12/30/99,` the piezometers.vtere dry:orcontained below 12 inches.of water. <br />The two west pit piezometers were measured for depth to water on 1.2/16/99, with the following <br />result: BF-1 was 14.25 ft dnd BF-2 was 17.$2 ft.
