This pit HAS NOT been granted a <br />Temporary Cessation and it HA$ operated more than 180 days this <br />year. The Financial Warranty for this operation is $111,500.00, <br />the permitted area is 70.12 ac.f and has a single Reclamation <br />Phase. As required in Rule 1.6 the MINE PERMITSiGN is at the <br />entrance to the pit and the boundary has been outlined with poste <br />to delineate the Permit Boundary. <br />On February 14, 2007 the Mined Land Reclamation Board <br />approved an amendment to the permit adding 19.62 acres to the <br />permit area. A Technical Revision was approved on 4/13/07 <br />approving a groundwater monitoring plan for the new area added to <br />the mine. <br />The annual report requirements in the MLRB Rules and Regula- <br />tions, and the annual review letter are addressed in the follow- <br />ing report. Please refer to the 2007 ANNUAL REPORT MAP submitted <br />with this text for the locations of the areas discussed. <br />(1) The areas show as partially mined have been stripped of <br />topsoil and the topsoil is stockpiled in the area shown on <br />the map. We estimate there is 10,000 cy stored on the mine <br />in various locations. At the current time we have 26.05 <br />acres t disturbed in the pit (cross-hatched). Of the total <br />area disturbed at this time 17.68 acres t is floor area that <br />will become a graded parking area when reclamation is com- <br />plete {brown); and 0.98 acres t is partially reclaimed; and <br />1.67 acres is topsoil stockpile areas (yellow). The remain- <br />ing 8.37 acres is stripped ready for mining. Approximately <br />0.98 acres were mined this year (purple). No mining has <br />taken place in the amendment area, but the ground water <br />monitoring wells have bee installed and the first two mea- <br />surements have been recorded. A copy of the monitoring <br />reports are attached for your review. There is adequate <br />soil stockpiled on the site to recoil the disturbed areas to <br />
