As you aze aware, all mining activities were suspended at the end of January 1993 and Srlal reclamation activities were initiated. During 1995 the backf lung, regrading, topsoiling, and seeding in the Pit l area were completed as per TR-13. In addition, over half the width of haul road at the mine site was regraded, topsoiled, and revegetated. Also, the 720 Pit and overburden azeas were seeded with the final permanent seed mixture. 1.0 MINING AND TOPSOIL REMOVAL There was no distrafiance associated with active mining during 1995. The 720 Pit and Pit l have been inactive since 1993. No topsoil was removed in 1995. 2.0 BACKFILLING AND REGRADED The Pit 1 area was regraded in accordance with TR- l3. Approximately 400,000 cy of material was moved. The final co~guration is shown on the 1995 Reclamation Map (Map 1). 3.0 OVERBURDEN STOCKPILE No overburden stockpiles exist at the Kerr Coal Mine. 4.0 ROADS Over half the width of haul road was ripped, regraded to blend in with the natural terrain and topsoiled. A 55- footwidth of the road was left as a permanent light use road as shown on 1995 Reclamation Map, (Map 1). In addition, the access road across Bush Draw was removed and hauled to the Pit l area.
