r,
• III IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
Instrumentation Log
Author: Victor Gurule
Date: February
2/3/92
1) Cleaned all Ph probes and calibrated all ph probes.
2) Worked on getting all the Cyanide pump to leach working in
auto or remote.
3) The pressure modulating valve on 208 was leaking so I
turned off the valve. The water was spraying onto the SAG
mill.
2/4/92
1) Showed Steve and Alfred our computer system in the mill
and the ware house.
2) Worked on making a banner for Gary Dodson.
3) Installed a new piece of poly pipe on the CIL tank 3 dart
valve.
4) Steve and I got the spare module on the network going.
5 Joel was concerned that the flow comming out the
thickener under flow pump was not reading accurately. So I
made several diagnostic checks and everything seems to be
working fine.
- note need to call rosemont concerning the accuracy of the
magnetic flow tubes and the possibility of electrode erosion.
2/5/92
1) Spent most of the day working on the temperature indicator
on the discharge to the elution column.
i. ran wire from the device to the marshaling cabinet.
ii. powered up the device and checked for proper
response.
iii. tried to calibrate the device at the end of the day
but the signal comming out of the device was fluctuation
badly.
2) Helped operations with a couple alarming problems. Changed
the severity of the cyclone low density alarm.
3) Modified the database in the ipds logic to accept the new
parameters for the new temperature gauge on the strip column.
2/6/92
1) Finished the calibration of the new temperature gauge on
