Normally, this involves weed infested soils which need to be <br />treated for years after being imported. Please describe your proposed weed control <br />policy, which will be necessary to control the spread of noxious weeds. <br />Otero County has adopted a noxious weed management plan (plan enclosed). <br />Spraying is done annually thru the growing season. Spraying currently is being <br />done by Laud Rehab, Colorado Springs, Colorado and iu addition spraying is <br />done with County personnel also. The topsoil used in the reclamation process <br />would be inspected and included in the County's weed management program. <br />The applicant states that the landowner wants the access road (improved existing <br />road) to remain after reclamation has been accomplished. Please provide a signed <br />document from the landowner demonstrating that he wants the road to be left as is <br />when mining is finished. <br />(Signed document enclosed) <br />
