Item 2 - Exhibit G - (3) please provide an estimate (in gallons or acre feet) of the
annual projected water requirements for dust control purposes and indicate the source
of the water.
It is estimated we would use approaimatety one acre foot of water to maintain
the dust control at this site. The County has historically bad a good relationship
with the communities in the County providing services to the towns, such as
providing labor and equipment for their chip-seal needs as well as special
projects. The County's three district shops have metered hard water taps and
have access to the towns hard water well pumps. We have not been denied the
use of the wells during the last several years of severe drought conditions in the
area.
Item 3 - Exhibit J - (a) describe the existing vegetation types, which include
quantitative estimates of cover and height.
(a) (enclosed)
(c) provide an estimate of carrying capacity for range lands on or in the vicinity of the
affected land.
(c) (enclosed)
Also please find receipt from County Clerk indicating adequacy letter and response is
filed in County Clerk's office and return mail receipt for required proof of public
notice and proof of mailing to landowners.
If additional information is needed, please contact Kenneth Parker or Darryl Schulz at
(719) 383-3035.
Sincerely,
Kenneth S.
