EXHIBIT D - MINING PLAN <br />1. The soil inventory included in the report is taken from the Soil <br />Conservation Service Soil Survey, Weld County, Colorado (Northern <br />Part), wherein general classes of soil are located and classified, <br />Descriptions are generalizations of the type of material at the <br />site and are not specific soils evaluations. In the case of the <br />Lehr Pit, the available growth medium is very minimal, The Re- <br />clamation section of the report states that the existing fines on <br />the site will be replaced for the best available growth medium, <br />In order to meet your recommendations and those of the Soil Conser- <br />vation Service, the top 6" of material will be used as replacement <br />material, <br />2, 3, & 4, <br />The mining plan will be a Block Type operation wherein as a new <br />area is opened for mining, the previous mined area will become the <br />working area and the previous working area will be used to place <br />the topsoil material to initiate the reclamation process.
