~iiiiiiiiiiiiiiu iu
l 999
5 Doc Date:12/11I2001
• SECTION 5.0 Topsoil Stockpile Locations
Trappers approved permit (Section 4.9.2) specifies that the CDMG will be provided with map(s) illus-
trating the location of topsoil stockpiles constructed during the previous year and the appro~amate
locations for stockpiles proposed for construction during the upcoming year (see Map(s) 3 in Section
3.0).
These maps were initially revised in 1990 and have been submitted annually in Append'a W updating
the report and map series, as per TR-d8. Each update includes the locations of e~sting stockpiles.
Since 1990, Trapper has provided the appro~mate topsoil volumes (ccyds) for existing stockples. Table
S1 lists a0 existing stodkpiles with their identification nomenclature, coordinates (based on the
approximate center of the pile), acres, construction date and volume; which is updated annually.
At the end of 1998 there were 87 existing topsoil stockpiles at Trapper atieding 188.0 acres and storing
approximately 3,791,097 cubic yards of salvaged materials.
During 1998, Trapper consWded four new stodkpiles and added topsoil to three existing piles.
Add'Aionaly, portions of sbc existing piles were removed via topsoil replacement.
The proposed approximate bcations (as shown on Map(s) 3 in Section 3.0) for topsoB stodkpiling in
1998 may exceed the actual number that will be constructed. Proposed topsoil stockpiles and the
number of q'les consWcted are dependent upon the fiekl cond'rlions that are encountered each
reclamation season. Adddionaly, particular piles may be depleted from or added to in order to maintain
a cost effective salvage or replacement program during a particular year.
n
U
eoN a~
to
