Canany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Division has received your Notice of Intent to conduct coal exploration (NOI CX- <br />2005-217-10), received by the Division on August 29, 2005, and has made the <br />following findings: <br />1. The application is complete. <br />2. The project qualifies as coal exploration rather than coal mining. <br />3. Your project will substantially disturb the natural land surface. Therefore you will be <br />required to submit a bond to cover the cost of reclamation. The Division has <br />calculated a bond liability estimate of $73, 685.00. Upon receipt and approval of the <br />bond, the Notice of Intent to Explore will be approved.
