Responses are listed relative to the order <br />of comments listed in your letter of August 30, 2005. <br />As it was determined by your office that the proposed roadway access is affected <br />area, and thus constitutes an amendment to the application, publication and public <br />notices were reposted. While it was determined that the airport property is nit <br />adjacent to the original or amended affected azea, the airport was notified. P •oof of <br />all publications and notifications is attached as R-1. <br />2. Portrayal of all applicable features listed in your comment is shown on the <br />amended Exhibit C -Pre Mining and Mine Plan Map (R-2). <br />3. The proposed access road comprises approximately 1.7 acres. It is shown on the <br />amended Exhibit C as "Amended Affected Area" (R-2). <br />4. All water features are shown and listed on the amended Exhibit C (R-2). <br />Location and identification of all significant, valuable and permanent man-made <br />structures are shown on Exhibit C -Structures (R-5). <br />6. As indicated on revised Exhibit D (R-6), mining methods will remain consistent <br />throughout all phases of mining. Mining within Phase D was originally proposed <br />to involve trenching and dewatering methods. Gravel, LLC has omitted this <br />mining method in this phase. It is not currently proposed to create apost-use pond <br />in this area. Any mining done in Phase D will be performed as is discussed 1br <br />phases A, B, C, and E. <br />7. Additional information concerning the proposed processing pant and contaimnent <br />of hazardous material is found in revised Exhibit D (R-6). <br />
