The hearing is to be held before the City of Rifle City Council on June 20, 2001. The appilcant, Roaring Fork Resources, inc.(RFR), made application to the City of Riffle for the watershed pertnR on October 17, 2000. Subsequently, City Staff, the City Attorney and myself reviewed the application. During that review, it was detertnlned that ' the proposed activitles assoaated with the project required acquisition of the watershed permH pursuant to Sections 10.05.040(C)(2),(3),(4),(5),(6),(7),(g) and (10) of the Rifle Municipal Code (RMC). li was also determined that the submittal information provided for review at that time was not complete. On behalf of the Clty of RIFle, we forwarded a letter to RFR on December 18, 2000 requesting additional informaton necessary to complete the application. On May 16, 2001, the City receNed the requested information from RFR and have now tound the application to be complete. In order to conduct the full review of the project as R relates to acquiring a watershed permit and to subsequently determine water quaniity and quality impacts to the :City's intake structure as well as determine appropriate measures towards mitigation of those impacts, the following Information has been reviewed: 1. October 17, 2000 letter and watershed permit application. 2. November 7, 2000 letter and application fee. 3. Project location map 4. Property legal description 5. Exhibit Q mining plan 6.
