McArdle ~d~~":~~D' ~'~`D ~'--• ,' : ' . ;, <br />~ _ i., n,. ,. ._ <br />Mined Land Reclamation " - <br />723 Centennial Building <br />1313 Sherman Street <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />Dear Mr. McArdle: <br />The Three Bells Ranch has submitted a request with The Colorado Depart- <br />ment of Health fora National Pollution Discharge Elimination Systems (NPDES) <br />permit. <br />We are informed that the gravel operation shall not commence prior to <br />receiving said authority to discharge water into the Poudre River as evi- <br />denced by the issuing of said NPDES permit by The Colorado Department of <br />Health. <br />The Three Bells Ranch understands that the issuing of a permit to mine <br />sand and gravel by the Mined Land Reclamation board does not grant us the <br />right to commence mining prior to our compliance with all county, state and <br />federal laws governing the mining of sand and gravel. We further understand <br />that we may be required to comply with newly enacted laws, guidelines and <br />regulations from time to time during the period of extraction of materials. <br />Sincerely, <br />Robert W.
