Stanton: <br />Please find below additional information your department has <br />requested for our gravel permit application. I hope this <br />information will be adequate so the Board will approve our <br />permit at the next meeting. <br />Exhibit B - Mining Flan (Supplgment) <br />1. Top soil from the mining area will be removed <br />by standard. methods and stockpiled in an area <br />to the south of the pit according to my revised ~~' <br />Exhibit C. See the area outlined in green. <br />The top soil will be stabalized with perenial <br />grass at a rate of 10 lbs/acre, pure live seed. <br />2. Excavated 1r.aterial will then be loaded onto <br />trucks and transported to the old gravel pit <br />for stockpiling and later crushing. <br />3. Crushing, per your departments recomendation, <br />will be conducted in the old gravel pit and ~ <br />stockpiles of crushed material will also be <br />stored there for later transportation. <br />4. Material that is crus;7ed will be used only for <br />t11e Forest Lakes Subdivision road system. No <br />gravel will be sold to individuals, or companies <br />as this is not a commercial operation. <br />5. It is anticipated that the mining operation will <br />be complete in 1986. <br />6. The mining operation will not affect FVOmmer Ditch <br />which borders the east edge of the operation. To <br />insure the ditch slope stability, mining will be <br />kept at least 50 feet away.
