Additional information concerning
this change in applications is attached to the application form. Also
included are five copies of Exhibits C and F which reflect these
changes.
In addition I have enclosed five copies of the additional information
from the Colorado Forest Service and the Soil Conservation Service
which you requested in your adequacy letter of June 15. Also Exhibit
C now shows the vegetation type, which is grassland. This should
fulfill the requirements of the adequacy letter.
The Larimer County Flood Plain Administrator also wanted to know the
effects on downstream property owners; therefore, a water surface
profile was calculated. I have enclosed five copies of the HEC-2
water surface profile computer run for both existing and proposed
conditions. Included are five copies of the flood plain map show-
ing the cross sections used in the HEC-2 program along with five
copies of cross sections A-A and B-B as shown on sheet number 4 of
Exhibit F submitted previously. In addition, there are five copies
of the water surface profile of both existing and proposed conditions
which shows that the water surface elevation of the 100 year flood
will be lowered after the excavation. As shown on both Exhibits C
and F there will be 100 feet of undisturbed area between the river
and Area I. This has been left so that flood waters can pass
through as they have historically. The applicant does not intend
to change the course of the river in any way nor does he plan any
excavation or fill within the river. If the river did change course
oW
o ~
Q N
K
~_ H
w ~
V F v
Y =
U ~
moo
u
u
LL
0
z
m
„'~\
_ ~~~
S
o~
3
~o
o z
o w
~~~
w
o
Z N `Q
3
>gM
o~,~
N
V
LL
Z
c~
C
Z
0
N
Z
V
0
u
N
