The rill and gully areas from the 1993 survey are <br />shown on the attached 1993 Rill and Gully Monitoring Map. <br />None of the rill and gully areas appear severe enough to <br />prohibit successful revegetation of the surrounding area, <br />disrupt the achievement of the postmining land use, or cause a <br />degradation of water quality standards for a receiving stream. <br />The following identifies action to be taken in the eleven areas <br />identified on the attached monitoring map. <br />Area Description/Mitiaative Measure <br />1 Several rills have developed in this 1992 <br /> replaced topsoil area. Contour ditches <br /> were constructed to divert water off of the <br /> slope. The rilled area was graded and <br /> reseeded. <br />2 Several rills have developed in this 1992 <br /> replaced topsoil area. Since no defined channel <br /> existed, the rilled area was graded and <br /> reseeded. <br />6 A rill was identified in a portion of this <br />area during 1992. That rill was graded and <br />seeded.
