Damrau <br />SUBJECT: Twentymile Coal Company & CMLRD Pre-Permit Conference <br />for Foidel Creek Life-of-Mine <br />DATE: October 25, 1983 <br />LOCATION: CMLRD Office, Denver <br />ATTENDEES: CMLRD - Ed Bishoff, Emrich, Fred Banta, Jim <br />Pendelton an~Roy Cox <br />TCC - Geoff Weston, Ed Thurmond, Tom Johansen, Rent <br />Crofts, Larry Damrau, George Young, Richard <br />Wright and Jeff Saunders <br />PURPOSE OF MEETING: Establish lines of communication associated <br />with the permit application review/approval <br />process for the Foidel Creek life-of-mine <br />operations <br />Geoff Weston introduced the TCC project personnel present and <br />defined the purpose of the meeting in light of the Pilot mine <br />advancement to a main mine operation. <br />Ed Thurmond presented a status report of the present activities <br />associated with the Foidel Creek Pilot Mine. He then presented the <br />conceptual operation plan map and expressed the fact that any area <br />outlined on the map was conceptual and not to be interpreted as the <br />operation plan map which would be submitted with the permit application. <br />Ed informed the CMLRD of our plan to submit a permit application with <br />a detailed five year mine operation plan within the general life-of-mine <br />operation plan. Jim Pendelton responded that "sequencing of the mining <br />operations planned is most important". <br />Geoff Weston asked Jim Pendelton if it would be satisfactory <br />to simply drive entries only, under the AVF areas. Jim Pendelton <br />responded that each specific activity planned within the AVF would <br />have to be reviewed in detail prior to approval being granted. <br />
