As you know, we will be recommending that the Mined Land Reclamation <br />Board approve the application during a hearing at their December 15-16, 1999 meeting. <br />The Division has calculated actual reclamation costs to complete reclamation of the Buena Vista Pit <br />given the proposed reclamation plan. We have calculated the cost to be $46,200.00. This amount <br />includes additional reclamation costs fora 50% failure of a revegetation attempt. If the Board agrees <br />with the Division's recommendation for approval, please remit a financial warranty in the amount of <br />$46,200.00 prior to your new permit being issued.
