We support the proposed amendment.
Specifically, we support maintaining the following buildings at Henderson: Surface warehouse and maintenance
shops, main office building and attached eating and shower facilities, as well as the sewage and potable water
treatment plants. These structures have, or support, infrastructure that is desirable in Clear Creek County:
electricity, gas, fiber optic, potable water and sewer and could support a variety of future uses of the property
including light industrial, commercial or recreational.
Basal on our experience with the Henderson site and associated records in our office, these structures are well
maintained and conform to local building and zoning codes. We believe that retention of the structures described
above would in no way impair desired reclamation quality for the site, and that it would actually facilitate the most
beneficial future use of the property.
We appreciate your consideration of this matter. Please don't hesitate to contact us at 303-679-2312 if we can be of
further assistance.
Sincerely,
CLEAR CREEK BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
~~~~
Jo nn Sorensen, Chairman
obert J.
