RE: Permit Renewal No. 1, Bowie No. 2 Mine, Permit No. C-96-083, Bowie Resources Ltd
Deaz Mr. Beaz:
The Division has finished its review of the Bowie No. 2 Mine permit application for permit
renewal No. 1. Because of the recent permit revisions to the Bowie No. 2 Mine, the permif
application, in general, has been kept up to date. The Division has only a few adequacy questions
and comments for this permit renewal.
Section 2.03.4, Identification of Interests
1. Please update the identification of interests information that is required in Sections -
2.03.4(1) through (10) of the permit application, where applicable. The updates should
include, but not be limited to, ownership and control information that is required in' '
Section 2.03.4(3) and (4), the list of the owners of record of surface areas to be affected
and the list of owners of record of the coal to be mined, as required in Section 2.03.4(6),
the list of the owners of record of the surface and subsurface areas that are contiguous~to
the permit azea that is required in Section 2.03.4(7) and the MSHA identification number,
as required in Section 2.03.4(8).
