The proposed changes do not increase the affected area of the pit nor do they change the overall reclamation plan. These changes are necessary to maximize the removal of the gravel contained within the permitted area. In March of this year we obtained information that one of the Colorado Interstate Gas Company (CIG) natural gaslines that cross the permit area was abandoned. we received confirmation of this in a letter from Mr. Frank Robinson dated May 23 , 1991, copy enclosed. in 1984 when this permit was granted we stated on page 11 that there was a possibility that this would happened and if it did we would submit a Technical Revision (T. R. ) to mine the CIG gasline R. O. W. . This T. R. involves revising the Mining and Reclamation Timetables, redrawing the Reclamation Map to reflect the changes caused when the gasline R. O.W. is mined, and renumber- ing the lakes to reflect their order of creation. In addition, the staging, south of the river, will be revised to allow two Phases instead of three and creating two lakes instead of three. The bond is currently $73 ,000 and is based on 36 . 00 acres ± of disturbance and the changes as proposed will not change this. K" CHARGES Accompanying this letter are 2 revised Reclamation Plan Map (Map Exhibit F) , please refer to them when reviewing this plan. The other copy is to be placed with the books submitted with the original application.
