Lnng <br />Division Dneaor <br />The following review comments are provided in response to the <br />Mountain Coal Company letter of March 7, 1997. <br />2.04.11 Fish and Wildlife Resource Information <br />15. Response accepted. <br />16. Response accepted. The report will be forwarded to the U.S. <br />Fish and wildlife Service for their review immediately upon <br />receipt of the information required in number 17 below. <br />17. Provide a revised Exhibit 67 specifically referencing the new <br />activities associated with the Sylvester Gulch expansion, and <br />which provides the details discussed below. The details are <br />necessary for presentation to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife <br />Service. This exhibit should be similarly revised with any <br />future revision submittals for which U.S Fish and Wildlife <br />consultation is required. <br />Revise Exhibit 67 to show the surface acreage of each pond at <br />the elevation of the primary spillway. It will also be <br />necessary to add language which addresses the probable <br />increased water needs associated with site construction, such <br />as any increase in potable water requirements for the <br />additional crews, and the probable increase in water <br />consumption for dust suppression and other construction needs. <br />The references to data from previous Annual Hydrology Reports <br />should also be updated as needed. The revised Exhibit 67 will <br />be forwarded to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, along with <br />the revised Exhibit 36 report, as soon as the requested <br />materials are received. <br />FVI;\Co~,l~ a14b~~5~w5~r7 <br />
