Crick <br />Reclamation Specialist <br />Re: Coal Ridge No. 1 Mine <br />Permit No. C-84-065 <br />Technical Revision No. 9 <br />Dear Mr. Crick: <br />74' III IIIIII III IIII III <br />Dencrr, CO 80231 <br />Trlrphone 303/337-3877 <br />Fax 303/337-1989 <br />~~ <br />SEP 2 4 1991 <br />IVinod Land <br />Reclamation Division <br />Reference is made to your letter of September 16, 1991, regarding <br />some open issues regarding the captioned permit. <br />Enclosed hereto please find three copies of a statement by a <br />professional engineer regarding the haul road specifications. <br />This statement should be inserted in Exhibit 4.2-2. <br />Information regarding the cut and fill slopes of the haul road <br />are included in Section 4.2.5 and Table 4.2-4 of the permit <br />application. information regarding the gradient of the <br />access/haul road is included in Section 4.2.4.1 and is also <br />briefly discussed in the statement by the professional engineer. <br />Also enclosed are three copies of the corrected Figures 4.2-1 and <br />3.3-2 showing the proper permit outline. <br />The table in Exhibit 4,6-1 will be corrected by Mr. Rovey and <br />will be submitted to your office by September 30, 1991. Mr. <br />Rovey is presently out of town and will prepare the corrections <br />upon his return. <br />Also included for your records are three copies of the Proof of <br />Publication regarding the "Coal Waste Facility Design". The <br />Technical Revision for Miscellaneous Issues has been published in <br />the newspaper during this week, however, the Proof of Publication <br />has not been received as of this writing. It will be submitted <br />to your office as soon as it is received. <br />Regarding the life-of-mine information, please note that during <br />this permit period, as well as future renewals, the same surface <br />area will be affected as the progress of the mine development <br />will be in a downward direction. <br />dl~~~~~d~dl~~;ll <br />
