Based on information contained in the response package, the <br />Division has revised the estimated reclamation costs associated with the PC3 overland conveyor. <br />Revised estimating forms aze enclosed with this Letter. The total amount of increased bond required for <br />approval of amendment AM-03 is $2,706,000.00. The increased reestimated cost reflects the updated <br />and modified plan from the CMC response package, including: <br />Slightly modified seed mix composition. <br />Increased tree planting on National Forest Lands. <br />Transplanting of approximately 8000 woody stems into the 1.54 acres of affected wetlands at <br />the time of reclamation. <br />Refined costs for the application of humate during revegetation efforts. <br />Increased costs for the offsite (Henderson landfill) disposal of concrete tie conveyor <br />foundations, and refined estimates for the total volume of concrete to be removed at the time of <br />reclamation. <br />Bond in the amount of $2,706,000.00 must be posted within 60 days of the date of amendment AM-03 <br />approval or prior to disturbance of the added affected land acreage, whichever date may occur sooner. <br />CMC is advised that based on the information provided in the April 6, 1998 response package, as well <br />as information contained in the approved reclamation permit for the Henderson Mine and Mill, the <br /> <br />
