Since Uie existing vegetative Dover at <br />the site is esserrtialty zero, Everist Materials is not required to revegetate the <br />site. <br />However, we do agree that some vegetation on the site would help <br />to reclaim many environmental and aestheticaspecxs of the site, including <br />some of the visual, wildlife, air, and water gt,~lity concerns related to <br />harvesting Uiis maderial. <br />You have suggested that we co~ it to inv and report to <br />DMG on the potential to Incorporate oust effective soi ndmenis into the <br />reclamation of the affected land - namely savrng.the screen and crusher lines <br />and amending same with horse manure.,Qnd hay or straw b build a sob to aid <br />revegetation of the srte. <br />We do wish to rev etate the site, but we do not wish to do research <br />on revegetating amended~nes and do not wish to report to you about the <br />progress of the research. Therefore, as disa~sed; we will sigtificantly ~. <br />improve upon your suggestion and committo plating an avenge of 1-irtch~of <br />sal to the sire to aid the revegetation effort That amount of soil will provide <br />far better vegetation than fines amended with horse manure and straw or hay. <br />Also as discussed witi1 you, we do not-expect to be held to any <br />r vegetation standards at this site (because the law requires no revegetation <br />of this sRej. <br />
