The Colorado Divisior of Minerals and Geology (DMG) submitted adequacy review <br />comments in a letter"dated October 8, 2003. Additional comments were.provided in a letter from, <br />Allen Sorenson to Kate Pickford dated October 17, 2003. The comments from Allen Sorenson <br />are addressed in Item #17 below. The information and discussion below addresses each <br />comment as it was presented by the Division. <br />In addition to the responses provided below, statements in the original application materials need <br />further clarification. The application materials refer to the adjacent Wattenberg Lakes site and <br />.Mined Land Reclamation Boazd (MLRB) Permit Number M2001008. The MLRB permit <br />application for the Wattenberg Lakes site-was withdrawn prior to final approval. The <br />Wattenberg Lakes site remains a proposed aggregate mining operation. <br />October 8.2003 Letter <br />1. The legal description for the affected land.in the proposed amended azea does not include any <br />easements with associated structures. <br />2. Rule 6.4.3 Section (a) requires the name and location of all creeks, roads, buildings, oil and <br />gas wells and lines, and power and communication lines. These items have been identified <br />on Exhibit C; Pre-mining/Mining Plan map. <br />3.
