The item numbers correspond to those in your letter. We understand that this letter <br />and the accompanying materials will become part of the application. <br />1. Proof of publication in the Mountain Mail, copies of certified mailing to the owner of the <br />surface lands (RAC Ranch, LLC}, easement holders (Chaffee County) and owners within 200' of <br />the affected azea (Edwin Steele) aze attached as Attachment "A". <br />2. The original application for the Jesse Lee 110 operation, received by Mined Land Reclamation <br />In the May 10, 1984 MLRD adequacy review of the Jesse Lee operation, Mark Loye notes in his <br />Item 1 that he has received a new map in the NEl/4 NEl/4 of Section 33 only, with 8.03 acres, <br />and requests clarification. <br />Division (MLRD) February 12, 1984, describes the operation as the NW 1/4 NW 1/4 NW 1;4 <br />NW 1 /4 of Section 34, a 2.5 acre parcel, and the NE 1 /4 NE 1 /4 NE 1 /4 of Section 33, a 10 acre <br />parcel. These aze shown on a letter size map included in the application at 1" = 200' labeled <br />"EXHIBIT C -MAP" that additionally notes an acreage of 9.8 acres and the notation "LIMIT OF <br />MINING AREA" pointing to a dotted line on the west side of the Arkansas River. <br />In the June 6, 1984 reply to the adequacy review, Wright Engineering states that "The revised <br />drawing and legal description is correct, which shows the property in Section 33, and having a <br />total of 8.03 acres." <br />Follow-up by Mark Loye of MLRD on this adequacy review dated June 12 and 22, 1984 makes <br />no further request for clarification of this item. <br />On Exhibit A of the final permit issued in July, 1984 the property is described as a part of the <br />NE1/4 NE]/4 of Section 33, but with an acreage of 9.8 acres. <br /> <br />
